Cable Identification and Cable Spiking

The programme provides opportunity to learner to use KSG200 to identify the correct cable prior to perform the spiking. The trainer will provide learner the opportunity to practise through simulation to have better understanding on the cable specifications. The learner will be exposed to correct and safe procedure to prepare and perform cable spiking.

By the end of the programme, learner will be able to:

• understand the cable characteristic

• perform cable identification

• aware of hazard of cable spiking

• perform correct spiking method

• proper manage cable spiking tools and comply with local legislation
